Everything a tailor reaches for. Sold to anyone.
Sewing thread, zips, buttons, interfacing, needles, shears, pressing tools and sewing machines — the haberdashery and sewing supplies a working atelier buys, listed by the tailor stores that stock them and shipped to your door.
Explore the catalogue
For the people who sew, mend and make.
Home sewers finishing a dress, dressmakers and seamstresses stocking a workroom, students with a pattern to cut, costume makers, quilters, leatherworkers and anyone replacing a broken zip on a favourite jacket. Materials is the sewing-notions shelf of TerzyApp: the small, specific things every project depends on, sold alongside made-to-measure clothing, alterations and fabric by the metre — but never fabric itself, which has its own catalogue.
From a tailor’s shelf to your workroom
Every item is sold by a tailor store that holds the stock, with the quantity it actually has.
- 01 · Find
Browse by what you are doing, not by brand
The catalogue is arranged the way a workroom is: measuring, marking, cutting, needles and pins, thread, buttons and fasteners, zips, elastics and trimmings, interfacing and supports, machines and their parts, pressing, patternmaking, embroidery, leather, adhesives, storage, kits and curtain making. Search by name or filter a category by its own specifications — zip length, needle size, thread weight, width.
- 02 · Compare
Read the specification, not the photo
Each listing carries the details that decide whether the item fits the job: material, size, length, weight, colour, pack size and what it is for. Where an item comes in variants — a zip in several lengths, a button in several diameters — you choose the exact one before it goes in your basket.
- 03 · Order
By the piece, the pack or the metre
Buttons, needles and zips are sold by the piece or the pack; ribbon, elastic, tape and piping by the metre, cut to the length you ask for. Prices are shown in your own currency and you pay securely, with the rate locked when you order. Materials sit in the same basket as a made-to-measure dress or a length of cloth.
- 04 · Receive
Shipped by the store that stocks it
The tailor store packs and dispatches your order and you follow it to your door. Each listing shows the countries its store delivers to, so you know before you order whether it reaches you.
The small things every garment depends on

Arranged the way a workroom is
Sewing supplies are easier to find by the task than by the brand. These are the shelves, each with its own specifications you can filter by.
Measuring, marking and cutting
Tailor’s tapes, rulers, curves and squares; chalk, markers and tracing wheels; dressmaking shears, snips, rotary cutters and seam rippers.
Needles, pins and thread
Hand and machine needles by size and point, pins and clips, sewing and embroidery thread by weight, fibre and colour.
Buttons, zips and fastenings
Buttons by diameter and material, hooks, snaps, buckles and rivets; finished zips by length and type, plus continuous zip chain and sliders.
Elastics, ribbons and trimmings
Elastic, bias binding, seam tape, ribbon, braid, lace, cord and piping — sold by the metre and cut to length.
Interfacing and garment supports
Fusible and sew-in interfacing, canvas, stabilisers, shoulder pads, sleeve heads, boning and bra-making components.
Machines, feet and spare parts
Domestic, embroidery and industrial sewing machines, presser feet, bobbins, needle plates, belts and replacement parts.
Pressing and finishing
Irons, pressing boards, tailor’s hams and sleeve boards, clappers, point turners and garment finishing tools.
Patternmaking, embroidery and more
Pattern paper and dress forms; hoops, embellishments and labels; leather and bag-making tools; adhesives, machine care, storage, sewing kits and curtain-making supplies.
Buy the materials alone, or with the work attached
Stock your own sewing box
Order the thread, needles, zips and interfacing for the dress, shirt or coat you are making yourself and have them delivered with the fabric you bought by the metre.
Fix what you already own
Replace a broken zip, lost buttons or worn elastic yourself — or photograph the garment and let a tailor on TerzyApp quote the alteration or repair instead.
Equip a workroom
Dressmakers, seamstresses and small ateliers buy machines, pressing equipment, pattern supplies and consumables here, from stores that work with the same tools every day.
Sewing supplies questions
- Is fabric sold here too?
- No. Materials is for everything except the cloth: thread, zips, buttons, interfacing, tools, machines and the rest of the sewing box. Fabric by the metre has its own catalogue on TerzyApp, and you can put both in the same basket.
- Who sells and ships the items?
- Tailor stores on TerzyApp that stock them. Each store lists what it has, packs your order and sends it, and each listing shows the countries that store delivers to.
- How are ribbon, elastic and tape sold?
- By the metre. The listing shows the shortest length the store cuts and how much is on the roll, and you choose your length before adding it to your basket. Buttons, zips, needles and similar items are sold by the piece or in packs.
- Can I find the exact zip length or needle size I need?
- Yes. Inside a category you can filter by its own specifications — zip length, needle size, thread weight, width — and a listing with several variants lets you pick the exact one before you order.
- Can I order materials together with a garment or fabric?
- Yes. Sewing supplies go in the same basket as a made-to-measure suit or dress, an alteration or a length of cloth, and you pay for all of it in one order in your own currency.
- Can I ask the store a question before buying?
- Yes. Every store can be messaged in the app. If you are unsure whether a zip will match or a foot fits your machine, ask before you order.
