Most fashion apps show you clothes. TerzyApp measures you, then builds the clothes around what it finds — using nothing but two photos from your phone. One native iOS app carries the whole idea: a customer side that turns a phone into a tailor's tape measure and a stylist, and a tailor side that lets a real tailoring business or fabric brand run its entire storefront from the same screen.
This post walks through everything currently shipping in the app — what a customer can do, what a Verified Master tailor or fabric brand can do, and the global infrastructure running underneath both.
SECTION: What TerzyApp Actually Is
TerzyApp is a two-sided marketplace connecting customers with master tailors and fabric brands, built around three commercial lines that all live in one catalogue: made-to-measure (a garment built to your own captured measurements), ready-made and digital products (buy garments off the shelf, or digital patterns with in-app download), and alterations and repair (the highest-frequency, most repeatable line — hems, waists, zippers, custom repair requests).
One native iOS app serves both roles — the tab bar itself changes depending on whether you're signed in as a customer or a tailor. A web dashboard mirrors the tailor side for anyone who prefers a desk workflow, and a fabric-brand admin gets a scoped version of the same dashboard for their branded storefront.
Current build status: TerzyApp is development-complete and running in TestFlight early access — demo, no-charge orders — ahead of its full App Store launch.
SECTION: AI Body Measurement — No Tape Measure, No Store Visit
This is the feature everything else is built on top of.
Two phone photos (front and side) plus a manual height is all it takes — no tape measure, no fitting-room visit, and no depth sensor or LiDAR required. An optional LiDAR-backed capture is available on supported devices as an extra accuracy boost, but the core flow works without it.
The scan produces 31 canonical measurements per profile, widening to 37 on the tailor's order screen once six extended measurements (inseam, thigh, calf, ankle, upper arm, forearm) are included.
Quality scoring flags a low-confidence capture before it ever reaches a tailor: an overall capture-quality score, missing-critical-view detection, posture-issue detection, and a per-measurement confidence value.
Guided auto-capture walks a first-time user through it — pose analysis, a device-tilt monitor, voice guidance, and a photo-quality gate, so there's no guesswork about how to stand or hold the phone.
Any single measurement can be locked so it's never silently overwritten by a later scan — useful once a tailor or customer has confirmed a value is correct.
Scan history and trends: every scan is graded (tailor-grade / standard / partial), tracked over time on a trend chart, and exportable as a PDF.
Family members can each have their own measurement profile behind a biometric-consent gate — handy for ordering on behalf of a partner or child — and a family member's photos are never stored.
For a tailor, this collapses the single biggest bottleneck in remote tailoring: getting an accurate body profile without a physical fitting. The order simply arrives with a customer's measurements already attached, reviewable and exportable as a GDPR-audited PDF.
SECTION: AI Virtual Try-On — See the Fit Before You Order
Compose a look from a base photo plus up to six garment pieces in one session, with an optional style prompt and a per-piece note.
Five ways to bring in a garment: your saved photo gallery, your digital wardrobe, the media picker, camera/library, or — the one people ask for most — pasting a product link to pull an item straight in.
A history grid lets you reopen or delete past try-ons; a feedback bar (thumbs up, or thumbs down with specific issue tags — face, garment, colour, proportion, background) keeps the model improving.
Save results to your phone's photo library or share them directly.
Fair-use controls cap generations at 15 per user per day, with failed generations not counting against the quota.
SECTION: Shopping, Ordering and Live Tracking
Beyond the two headline AI features, the customer side covers the full commerce loop:
A catalogue split into three switchable tabs — Fabrics, Garments, and Style & Fit — with debounced search, filters, and a store selector you can browse as a list or as a map with store pins.
Made-to-measure ordering with a per-garment options grid (fit, details, finishing) and transparent per-option pricing.
A cart grouped by tailor store, with import/customs duty shown at checkout (including the EU low-value duty that now applies from 1 July 2026), coupon codes, and the ability to order for yourself or a family member.
A live five-step order tracker — accepted → in production → ready to ship → shipped → delivered — with a full event-history timeline.
In-app chat with offers: a tailor can send a customer a priced custom offer directly inside a conversation, which the customer can accept, pay, or drop straight into the cart.
An editorial Discovery feed — "Ateliers," "Fabric Houses," an alteration spotlight, and a blog reader ("The Journal") — for browsing tailors and fabric brands the way you'd browse a magazine, not a directory.
SECTION: For Tailors — Run a Full Storefront From Your Phone
Every tailoring business that joins TerzyApp as a Verified Master gets a full storefront inside the same iOS app (mirrored on the web dashboard):
A self-service store application and profile hub — basic info, address with a map picker, media gallery, a portfolio editor, specializations, and payout onboarding.
Catalogue tools for fabrics and garments, including single-screen stepper editors with auto-save, and the ability to fork items from a shared fabric library into your own catalogue.
An order queue with accept/decline countdown windows, production and shipping status, and a full payout ledger (gross, VAT, commission, net) per order.
Store Insights — 7/30/90-day views, orders trend, purchase funnel, top garments — plus a reviews inbox and self-service discount codes.
Hosted identity and bank onboarding (KYC) to receive payouts, with funds released only after a successful delivery — the platform holds and protects the money flow so tailors get paid reliably and customers get protected refunds.
Commission runs at roughly 14% per completed sale, adjustable per store, and is fully transparent in the payout ledger.
SECTION: For Fabric Brands — A Branded Storefront That Feeds Every Order
Fabric brands get a scoped version of the same system: their own branded fabric listings, brand story, gallery, and a verified-brand badge that shows up everywhere their fabric appears in the catalogue. Every fabric goes through the same review process as a tailor's listing before it goes live, and every fabric a customer chooses for a made-to-measure order flows straight into that order's supply chain — no separate integration needed.
SECTION: Global From Day One
The same infrastructure runs underneath both sides of the app:
29 languages across the UI, with on-demand machine translation of user-generated content (chat, listings, reviews).
12 currencies, priced with live conversion and a rate locked at checkout.
37 countries, live from day one (UK, EU/EEA, US, Canada, Switzerland, Gibraltar, San Marino).
Because the localization, pricing, and payout rails are already built, expanding into a new market is largely a matter of switching it on — the current go-to-market sequence is UK first, then EU, US and Canada.
SECTION: Built on Trust
A marketplace that handles body measurements and payments has to earn trust structurally, not just promise it:
Photos and body measurements are encrypted and served only through secure, expiring links.
Biometric data collection is consent-gated, subject by subject — including for family member profiles.
Funds are held until delivery is confirmed, protecting both the customer and the tailor.
Server-side ownership and role checks fail closed by default, and every admin action is captured in an audit log.

SECTION: FAQ
Is TerzyApp available on the App Store yet?
Not yet — the app is development-complete and running in TestFlight early access with demo, no-charge orders, ahead of its full public launch.
Do I need a LiDAR sensor or special hardware to get measured?
No. The core AI body measurement flow needs only two phone photos (front and side) and your height. LiDAR is an optional accuracy boost on supported devices, not a requirement.
How accurate is the AI body measurement?
Every scan gets a quality score, per-measurement confidence, and flags for missing views or posture issues before it's used for an order — so low-confidence captures are caught rather than silently sent to a tailor.
How much commission does a tailor pay?
Roughly 14% per completed sale, adjustable per store, with payout only released after successful delivery.
Can a fabric brand sell without also being a tailor?
Yes — fabric brands get their own scoped storefront and catalogue, separate from the tailor role.
Which countries does TerzyApp operate in?
37 countries today — UK, EU/EEA, US, Canada, Switzerland, and a few European microstates.
